Pontianak State Polytechnic (Polnep) held an Eid Al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah gathering event following one month of fasting in Holy Month of Ramadhan. The gathering event aimed as a moment of strengthening relationships as well as a mutual giving of forgiveness among the big family of Polnep. The event was conducted at the Hall of Polnep Integrated Building on Wednesday (24/04/24). All invited guests attended the event which was full of warm ambience and togetherness that filled up the room. Spotted attending the event, Director of Polnep, Vice Directors, Heads of Departments, Head of Senate, Heads of Divisions and Sub-Divisions, and other members of Polnep communities.
Director H. Widodo PS. in his welcoming remarks highlighted the importance of this gathering event as a momentum of strengthening relationships and spirit of collaboration among Polnep communities. “It is also a moment to forgive each other,” he added.
Following the remarks, a tausyiah (a religious lecture) was delivered by Ustad. H. Burhansyah, S.Ag., M.Pd. In the tausyiah, the preacher called all the participants to continue the good deeds that had been done during Ramadan, ranging from reading Quran, giving charities, practicing night prayers, making Dhikr, and other good deeds. “All will be better if complete it with fasting a further six days in Shawwal month,” he concluded.
The event ended with participants exchanging greetings, giving mutual warm handshake, and having lunch together.
